THis film is called Tesis, a 1996 film directed by Alejandro Amenábar (woh many will know as the director of the "the Others" with Nicole Kidman). It´s a stylish thriller starring It stars Ana Torrent, Fele Martínez and Eduardo Noriega.
A film student (Torrent) is studying audio/visual violence for her Thesis. While gathering research material, she find a vdeo when he tutor is found dead. Wathcing it, she finds that she is watching a real snuff video. along with her coursemate Chema (Martínez), they try to unearth the origins of the tape, not realising the danger they are in.
Some people may find this plot fmailiar. In fact the Nicholas Cage film 8MM was based on this film...

The stroy starts with Father Ángel Beriartúa, a priest and expert on numerology who comes across a code that predicts the birth of the antichrist in Madrid in only a few weeks time. To stop this he leaves his church and tries to committ as many sins as possible, enlisting the help of a Death Metal Fan and a fraudulent psychic. While they take part in murder, black magic and LSD trips, are they truly preventing the reincarnation of Satan, or is it all in their minds?....
